If you create an account, we store your email address and a chosen avatar in Firebase (Google Cloud). Anonymous usage stores nothing about you on our servers.
Messages you post in community rooms or DMs are stored in Firebase Firestore so other users can read them. Private chats with Oni are sent to Groq's API to generate responses — they are not stored by us after the session ends.
Voice sessions use your microphone via the browser's Speech Recognition API and send audio text to Groq. Text-to-speech is handled by ElevenLabs. No audio recordings are stored by Outburned.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand general usage patterns (pages visited, session length). If your device is in the European Economic Area, analytics are disabled entirely — no tracking occurs.
We use your browser's local storage to remember your login session and app preferences. No third-party advertising cookies are set.
You can delete your account at any time from the account settings panel, which removes your profile and community data from our servers. For any data requests, email us at rebecca@outburnedai.com.
